Data API

The archive behind the dashboards, as JSON. The live feeds are free and open today; keyed access to the full historical archive ships with the API plan.

Free live endpoints live now

No key, no signup. Same numbers the dashboards render, refreshed continuously, cached ~30 s at the edge:

GET https://basintwo.com/api/chain/ltc   # live LTC metrics: hashrate, difficulty, fees, signal states
GET https://basintwo.com/api/chain/doge  # live DOGE metrics
GET https://basintwo.com/api/chain/btc   # live BTC metrics, from our own synced node
GET https://basintwo.com/api/nodes/ltc   # node liveness receipts (also btc, doge)

Please cache on your side and keep it civil — these are provided as-is for light use. If you are building on them, tell us via platform@basintwo.com and we won't break you silently.

Historical archive endpoints API plan — launching soon

Keyed access to the first-party archive: per-block fee-rate percentiles, fees, sizes and subsidies for every canonical block we have validated (coverage). Authentication is a bearer key; usage is metered per UTC day.

Authorization: Bearer bs2_live_…

GET /api/v1/chains                      # per-chain coverage summary
GET /api/v1/chain/{btc|ltc|doge}      # live metrics, same shape as the free feed
GET /api/v1/{chain}/blocks?from_height=&to_height=&limit=  # per-block rows incl. feerate percentiles
GET /api/v1/{chain}/fees/daily?from_day=&to_day=       # daily aggregates

Every response carries an envelope with your usage: {"ok":true,"data":…,"meta":{"usage_today":…,"daily_cap":100000,"plan":"api","as_of":…}}. Caps return HTTP 429 with retry_after_secs — no silent throttling. The plan is $49/mo with 100,000 requests/day; card and Bitcoin payments both land shortly — the pricing page has the honest state and a demand counter.

Ground rules

The data is computed by our own full nodes and republished nowhere else — if you publish work built on it, cite the series start dates from /data so your readers can verify. Free daily CSV downloads of the same series live there too. Not financial advice; the free feeds carry no uptime commitment — the paid tier's terms will be published with the tier itself.
